Andrew Nguyen
Malting & Brewing Specialist
As a Malting and Brewing Technical Specialist at the Canadian Malting Barley Technical Centre (CMBTC), Andrew oversees the operations of the pilot brewery which includes optimizing malting and brewing performance, product development, data analysis, report development, and assisting with research initiatives.
Andrew also leads the CMBTC’s beer sensory panel group including set up, training and administration. He received his Bachelor of Science degree (BSc.) from the University of Manitoba in microbiology with a minor in chemistry and has since received his General Certificate in Brewing from the Institute of Brewing & Distilling.
