Malting & Brewing Specialist
Aaron Onio oversees the day-to-day operations of the Canadian Malting Barley Technical Centre (CMBTC), pilot malt lab and the 80 kG pilot malt system used to evaluate the quality and performance of Canadian malt barley.
Aaron is also a resident instructor at the CMBTC’s Malt Academy that offers practical hands-on training to produce high quality malt products and technical lessons of malt quality and its effects on the brewing process and ultimately, beer quality. In his leisure, Aaron enjoys continuous learning and travelling to new places.
